Please refrain from burning today. Conditions are extremely favorable for fire and will spread quickly. If you have a fire that seems to be getting out of hand please call in sooner than later. And remember to always call in your controlled burns.

Happy Sunday! We have a red flag warning in place because we are going to be warm, dry, and breezy. IF a fire gets started outside it will spread quickly. - Meteorologist Meghan Chada

The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF) invites fire departments, communities and buildings nationwide to participate in Light the Night for Fallen Firefighters. Illuminating in red serves as a dignified symbol of remembrance and a visible expression of support for our fallen firefighter’s families, departments, and communities. Departments, communities and buildings are encouraged to light up in red on May 2, 2026, or at any time between April 26 and May 3, 2026, as part of this collective tribute.

This hydrant took approximately 5 minutes to shovel out. That may not seem like much time but in a house with modern materials, can be the difference between a potential save and a complete loss. If you are able, please consider cleaning out the hydrants in your neighborhood or anywhere around town. Ourselves and your neighbors appreciate it! Thank You
