This morning, we performed an ice check and discovered 15-16 inches of clear ice. As a reminder, it is crucial for individuals to verify the ice thickness personally. Furthermore, we recommend avoiding small snow drifts on the lake, as ice thickness can fluctuate beneath the snow. The Classic will proceed as planned. We emphasize that each individual is responsible for checking the ice thickness.

Prizes have been finalized and will be posted shortly. Based on today's measurement of 13.5 inches of ice, on average, as of January 25, 2026, we intend to proceed with our plans this weekend. We will conduct another ice inspection on Wednesday, taking into account the current forecast. As always, we remind everyone that ice safety is not 100% guaranteed, and we recommend that individuals perform their own checks.
