We are thrilled to see our dear friend, Sara Magenheimer, recognized with this prestigious award! CEF was honored to nominate Sara, whose thoughtful leadership and unwavering commitment to putting students first have made such a meaningful impact on our school district. This recognition is incredibly well deserved, and we couldn’t be happier for her!

We’re lucky to receive heartfelt thank-you notes from educators and students throughout the year. And while those notes may come to CEF, the gratitude behind them belongs to you.

Your generosity makes CEF grants—and the opportunities they create—possible. We are so grateful for your support of Canby students and educators.

Thank you!

Please join us in welcoming Molly Bailey to the CEF Board of Directors!

Molly is a creative jack-of-all-trades, Canby mom, baseball-field regular and so much more! What really makes Molly a wonderful addition to CEF is her belief in creating opportunities for Canby kids.

As Molly puts it: “When we support our teachers and schools, we’re giving students the chance to try something new, discover an interest they didn’t know they had, or experience learning in a completely different way.”

We’re so excited to have Molly’s creativity, thoughtfulness, and community spirit on our board. Welcome to CEF, Molly!

EDUCATORS! Our grants are designed to help bring your ideas to life—the creative, engaging opportunities that make learning memorable for students but don’t fit within a school budget.

So, as you start the year and find yourself saying, “Wouldn’t it be great if we could…”— think of CEF!

Welcome back, Canby educators! We hope you had a wonderful summer and are excited for the year ahead.

The Canby Educational Foundation grant application is now open, and we can’t wait to support the creative ideas our educators bring to life for Canby students!

Today, CEF board members delivered 484 donuts to celebrate every employee of the Canby School District.

It’s a small gesture, but a heartfelt thank you to the people who make learning meaningful—and a little sweeter—every day.

**Special thanks to Cutsforth’s for the incredible donuts and their generous discount!

And thank you to my extra morning helper! 🤗
