Canby Junior Baseball CJB is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing kids from 5 years old through 8th grade, the chance to learn and play baseball ⚾️

Our goal as a youth baseball organization is to nurture children and young adults in their development both as athletes and as people. We provide a firm and supportive environment, which encourages learning while building self-confidence and self-esteem. Everything we as the Board, and hopefully everything that you do will support these goals and the mission statement of Canby Junior Baseball.

Our next board meeting is Wednesday, August 12 at 7:00 PM at the Antonia Ballroom (Above Backstop Bar & Grill).

The meeting is open to all current Canby Junior Baseball members, and we welcome you to join us!

Looking for a great way to earn money this fall? Whether you're brand new to umpiring or looking to get back behind the plate, the NYBUA Fall Umpire Clinic is the perfect place to get started!

What you'll learn:
⚾ One- and two-person umpire mechanics
⚾ Game management and positioning
⚾ Everything you need to get ready for the fall baseball season

Who can join?
✔️ New and returning umpires
✔️ Ages 13+ (if ready to umpire)

💲 Registration is just $25, and you'll earn $10 back after umpiring at least two games!

✅ Choose the games you want to work.
✅ Get paid weekly—payments are processed every Sunday and deposited Tuesday morning.

Canby Minor Fed team went 38-0 this season and took state for the first time in 12 years at this level! They gave up just one hit in the championship game against Nelson. Earlier in the season they won invitational tournaments at Canby, Estacada and Reedville as well as county. Huge thank you to the players, fans, families and community for their support. The team was coached by Pat Bailey, Shane Fife, Cody Smith and Jesse Farnsworth.

⚾️ STATE BOUND! ⚾️

Canby couldn’t be more proud of these incredible boys and everything they’ve accomplished this season! They’ve played with heart, hustle, and determination all year long, and now they’re ready to take that same energy to the State Tournament this weekend at Ladd Acres Elementary in Reedville.

Their first game is Friday, July 17 at 9:00 AM, and we’d love to see the stands filled with Cougar pride! If you’re looking for something fun to do this weekend, make the trip to Reedville and cheer on these young athletes as they continue their dominant season on the biggest stage.

Good luck, Team Bailey! Play hard, have fun, and make Canby proud. We’re behind you every step of the way!

What a game! Canby and Nelson battled it out in an exciting County Championship matchup, and Canby came away with a hard-fought 4-2 victory! 💙💛

A huge congratulations to both teams on earning their spot at the State Tournament in Reedville this upcoming weekend. Best of luck as you represent your communities on the big stage!

And to our Canby boys… CONGRATULATIONS on an undefeated season! What an incredible accomplishment. Your hard work, determination, and teamwork have been on full display all season long.
