AGENDA FOR TOMORROW!!
Show start time will be 9am BUT we want everyone there at 8-8:30am so we can do our morning meeting in the warm up arena with the President, and Opening Ceremony in the main arena before we start setting up for barrels.
You may arrive at the fairgrounds as early as 6:30 but please no earlier, that is when the gates will be unlocked. If you’d like to ride in the open arena before we start, please do before 8am! Then the big tractor will come and do a big drag before we do open ceremony and set up for barrels. 8:30am we will do morning meeting with the president during barrels set up and then opening ceremony.
~PARKING~
Enter thru the yellow gate(photo is posted for reference) It is the gate up top, past the main red gate, that takes you over by the Rodeo Arena where you may park. Pay attention to fellow haulers and be mindful of your parking. ABSOLUTELY NO TRAILERS DOWN BY THE ARENA unless you were told you could park there prior as space is limited and have already been designated. Once parked, come on down with your horse to the arena thru the gate between the barns. ABSOLUTELY NO CARS ARE TO DRIVE DOWN THRU THE BARNS TO THE ARENA! NO cars to drive PAST the arena. All CARS need to be parked on the blacktop when entering thru the red gate!
~INSIDE TYING AND STALLS~
You may tie inside if you'd like(first come first served and tie with baling twine) or come by the barn and pay to get a stall opened/assigned to you. And absolutely NO kickers or diggers to be tied inside please Horses tied inside MUST be tied to the wall! No holding horses at your chair or the bleachers. We need a CLEAR alley for people to walk thru, they shouldn’t have to ask you to move your horse or walk thru horse butts!
Stalls are $10 each and MUST be stripped before you leave! Cash preferred No hanging out in the barn alleyways. You can hang out in the stall with your horse or post a chair outside your stall but please keep the alleyway clear! If your horse is a kicker, please make sure there is a red ribbon tied on its tail so others are aware and tie outside at your trailer or a stall is preferred for kickers. We don’t want any accidents. If your horse is tied to your trailer and digs a hole, please fill it back in before you leave! Otherwise the fairgrounds will impose a fee to US!

~SOME RULES~
*No Dogs
*No Smoking
*No horses on the blacktop - NO EXCEPTIONS!
*No horses past the line to the crows nest inside or outside
*Keep the back alleyway clear for those entering the arena, no walking thru the back alleyway on foot, that’s when accidents happen. Handlers are fine but please go around to the other side if you need to get to that end.
*For barrels, you may come in to the arena with your group and line up between the timer pole and the cone, if your horse does not like standing with others, please let the gate person know so they can let you in when it’s your turn.
*LISTEN FOR YOUR NUMBER! Your number is yours for the day, learn it, live it, LOVE IT. If you are number 58 and you hear we are on 50, you better be on your horse ready to ride! If you are not in the arena, you have 60 seconds to get in there to run or else you will be DQd for that event.
*ABSOLUTELY NO RUNNING IN OR OUT OF THE GATE! Our gate keeper is very precious to us and we hate to see her jump in front of a runaway horse because you lose control! KEEP CONTROL OF YOUR HORSE! Judges discretion to DQ you for that event. First time, it’s a warning, 2nd time you may be DQ’d. If you have been with us before and have previously been warned of this, they will not make an exception (they do remember!)
*The gate for barrels is considered the exit and for the double lanes events, the "gate" is the spot between the wings and the exit gate pole.
*JUDGES RULE IS FINAL!
*KEEP FORWARD MOTION! STAY ON COURSE AND IN YOUR LANE! No circling the barrels or poles, you will receive a no time! Except for Flag race, you may circle the barrel as many times as needed to grab the flag, must keep forward motion!
If you go off course, please exit the arena promptly, you already received a no time, please exit.
*Top 5 in each group will be posted on our FB page as soon as that group finishes that event. If time allows me
*PLEASE pick up after yourselves and your horses and fill in holes! We don’t want to keep having to announce it all day and don’t want to be there all night!
*Children under the age of 12 must have an adult with them at all times while on the grounds (no wanderers )
*The warm up arena is for warming up! Please no lolly gaggers in the warm up pen. No RUNNING or LUNGING horses in the warm up arena. If your horse needs that much warming up, please do so in the open arena before 8:15am!
*NO RUNNING in the rocks or up above in the grass or past the sign on the blacktop that says NO HORSES beyond this point! MEANING NO HORSES AT THE END BY THE CROWS NEST!
I think that’s it for now!
Please be respectful to your judges, volunteers and fellow peers and of course treat your horses right!
And the MOST important rule of the day….. HAVE FUN and CHEER on your fellow riders!!!
WE are SO excited to see everyone tomorrow bright eyed and bushy tailed for our SERIES FINALE!!
