Canby Junior Basketball

We are a non-profit, community-based program that is designed to provide basketball opportunities for children who live in the Canby School District.

Canby Junior Basketball is a non-profit organization governed by a board of elected members. Each board member serves for a one-year term, and is responsible for all facets of the program. In addition Canby High School's varsity coaches act as non-voting advisors. Canby Junior Basketball could not exist without these volunteers and many other individuals who participate in our program. Hundreds of

boys and girls participate each year. You can well understand how vital the help of our volunteers is to the continued success of our organization. We will continue to improve and thrive only if players, parents, coaches, volunteers, and board members work together and look to the future as a group that is concerned not only with Canby Basketball, but with our community as a whole.

🏀 CANBY JUNIOR BASKETBALL FREE SKILLS TRAINING!

Get ready to sharpen your game! Join us for a 3-week FREE skills training clinic led by Alex Evans, Canby High graduate and basketball star! Alex will work with players on ball handling, finishing at the rim, shooting form, conditioning tips, and live-play scrimmaging.

📅 September 9th, 16th & 23rd
⏰ 5:30 PM - 7:00PM
⛹️‍♀️ 4th-8th Graders welcome
🔥 Come ready to work, learn, compete, and have fun!

What to bring:
💧 Water bottle
👕 Reversible jersey (if you have one)
🏀 Basketball attire & shoes

Balls will be provided!

🏀 Mark Your Calendars! 🏀

📅 Seaside Tournament Dates: January 16–17, 2027

Canby Junior Basketball families, please mark your calendars!

Our Seaside Tournament is scheduled for January 16–17, 2027. We wanted to share the dates early so families can begin making travel plans and arrange lodging, as accommodations in Seaside can fill up quickly.

More tournament details, including schedules and additional information, will be shared as they become available.

It takes a village, and we’re proud to be part of it! 🏀🧡

The Canby Junior Basketball Board had a great time helping set up and tear down for the annual Nothing But Net 3-on-3 Tournament—one of our favorite events to volunteer at each year!

This tournament is all about bringing our community together through basketball, and we’re grateful to play a small part in making it happen. A huge thank you to everyone who volunteered their time and to all the players, families, and fans who make this event such a success.

We’re already looking forward to doing it all again next year! 💙🏀
