The objective of the Local League shall be to implant firmly in the children of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and respect for authority, so that they may be well adjusted, stronger and happier children and will grow to be good, decent, healthy and trustworthy citizens. Our program offers Softball and Baseball:

Campbell Dean: Minors Come Back To Defeat Canastota Bread And Batter

Campbell Dean: Minors rallied to defeat Canastota Bread And Batter 16-12 on Saturday at 100 Joseph Stag. Campbell Dean: Minors trailed by as many as six runs during the game.

Austin B collected three hits in three at bats in the win. Austin B tripled in the first inning, doubled in the third inning, and singled in the second inning.

Canastota Bread And Batter got on the board in the top of the first inning after Connor B walked, Cameron P stole home, and Connor B stole home, each scoring one run.

Campbell Dean: Minors flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the first, scoring five runs on four hits to take the lead, 5-3. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Jax C that drove in one.

In the top of the second inning, Canastota Bread And Batter went back into the lead after Easton H doubled down the right field line, Harrison S grounded out, Cameron P singled up the middle, Connor B walked, and Jionni S doubled to left field, each scoring one run.

Canastota Bread And Batter added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Reid S stole home, Easton H singled to the right side of the infield, and Harrison S doubled to left field, each scoring one run.

Campbell Dean: Minors scored five runs on three hits in the bottom of the third inning. Sammy B singled, scoring one run, Paisley C grounded out, scoring one run, Jax C singled, scoring one run, and Austin B doubled, scoring two runs.

Campbell Dean: Minors flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the fourth, scoring five runs on one hit to take the lead, 15-11. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Paisley C that drove in two.

Austin B pitched three innings in relief for Campbell Dean: Minors. The pitcher surrendered four hits and two runs while, striking out seven and walking five. Quincy A began the game for Campbell Dean: Minors. The southpaw surrendered one hit and four runs over one and one-third innings, striking out four and walking one. Reid S started the game for Canastota Bread And Batter. The starter surrendered four hits and five runs over two-thirds of an inning, striking out two and walking four.

Sammy B and Paisley C were a one-two punch in the lineup, as each drove in three runs for Campbell Dean: Minors. Jax C collected two hits for Campbell Dean: Minors in four at bats. Campbell Dean: Minors had a strong eye at the plate, collecting 14 walks for the game. Vincent P, Quincy A, and Sterling L led the team with three free passes each. Austin B, Vincent P, Quincy A, Carson K, Paisley C, and Jax C each stole multiple bases for Campbell Dean: Minors. Campbell Dean: Minors ran wild on the base paths, accumulating 26 stolen bases for the game. Campbell Dean: Minors didn't commit a single error in the field. Jax C had the most chances in the field with 11.

Harrison S led Canastota Bread And Batter with three runs batted in. The switch hitter went 3-for-4 on the day. Easton H and Jionni S each collected multiple hits for Canastota Bread And Batter. Connor B paced Canastota Bread And Batter with three walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, accumulating nine walks for the game. Seth W, Easton H, Reid S, Harrison S, Cameron P, Jionni S, Connor B, and Jaxsyn D each stole multiple bases for Canastota Bread And Batter. Canastota Bread And Batter ran wild on the base paths, accumulating 24 stolen bases for the game. Canastota Bread And Batter were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Cameron P had the most chances in the field with five.

Strong Hitting Not Enough As CCI:Minors Falls To Clark Equipment: Minors

Even though CCI:Minors collected 14 hits to Clark Equipment: Minors's eight, they still fell 15-6 on Saturday. Conner R and William M each collected three hits for CCI:Minors.

Clark Equipment: Minors jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Tanner C doubled, scoring two runs, and a steal of home scored one run.

Clark Equipment: Minors scored five runs on two hits in the top of the fourth inning. Ryan W tripled, scoring one run, C**t S doubled, scoring three runs, and a steal of home scored one run.

Clark Equipment: Minors scored five runs on three hits in the top of the fifth inning. Ethan C singled, scoring one run, Jayce C doubled, scoring one run, Ryan W singled, scoring two runs, and a steal of home scored one run.

CCI:Minors scored five runs on four hits in the bottom of the fifth inning. Odin R drew a walk, scoring one run, Nico T singled, scoring three runs, and a steal of home scored one run.

Nico T started on the hill for CCI:Minors. The pitcher gave up one hit and three runs over one and two-thirds innings, striking out five and walking one. Tanner C stepped on the bump first for Clark Equipment: Minors. The starter allowed two hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out five and walking two.

CCI:Minors accumulated 14 hits in the game. Nico T provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led CCI:Minors with three runs batted in. The 3-hole hitter went 1-for-3 on the day. Parker C and Parker L each collected multiple hits for CCI:Minors. Odin R, Conner R, William M, and Tristan S each stole multiple bases for CCI:Minors. CCI:Minors stole 10 bases in the game. CCI:Minors were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Roman O made the most plays with 16.

Ryan W and C**t S each drove in three runs for Clark Equipment: Minors. Ethan C led Clark Equipment: Minors with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, accumulating six walks for the game. Ryan W, C**t S, Tanner C, Jayce C, Ethan C, Carter W, and Kinglsei S each stole multiple bases for Clark Equipment: Minors. Clark Equipment: Minors ran wild on the base paths, tallying 22 stolen bases for the game. Clark Equipment: Minors were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Ryan W made the most plays with 10.

🏆 Section III Scholar-Athletes! 🏆

Huge congratulations to seniors Brooke Roberts and Ty Hawkins, who were honored last night at Onondaga Community College as Canastota's Section III Scholar-Athlete representatives! 🌟

Both Brooke and Ty received a plaque, a $100 award, and a Section III backpack to celebrate their outstanding achievements both in the classroom and on the field. 📚👟

In addition, Ty Hawkins was named a recipient of the Mountain Goat Run Foundation Award, earning an additional $500 scholarship! 🐐💥

We are incredibly proud of Brooke and Ty for representing Canastota with such excellence.

Tomorrow is Parade Day!! All Little Leaguers welcome!!!

The International Boxing Hall of Fame announced today Sugar Ray Leonard and members of the legendary 1976 U.S. Olympic Boxing Team will reunite in Canastota for the 50th anniversary of the Montreal Olympic Games during the Hall of Fame Weekend and will collectively lead the Parade of Champions as Grand Marshal on Sunday, June 14th.

In addition to Leonard, gold medal winners Michael Spinks and Leo Randolph; silver medal winner Charles Mooney and team member Chuck Walker will be attending.

"Words can’t fully describe the pride and joy I felt being part of that incredible Olympic team that brought home five Olympic gold medals. To have the honor of serving as Grand Marshal alongside my amazing teammates for this 50th anniversary of the 1976 Olympic Games is truly one of the greatest feelings I could experience. You don't know the impact this has made on my life, thank you so much,” said Hall of Famer Sugar Ray Leonard.

The Parade of Champions, set for Sunday, June 14th at 12 noon, will pass through the streets of Canastota. In addition to the grand marshal and boxing stars, the parade will also feature pageant caliber bands, drum & bugle corps, pipe bands, floats and community organizations.

Ryland Drives 4 Runners Home In Joey’s Carbon & Chrome: Majors Victory Over NY Mills

Ryland R drove in four runs on two hits to lead Joey’s Carbon & Chrome: Majors past NY Mills 9-1 on Friday at CLL Majors Field. Ryland R hit an inside the park home run in the first inning, scoring three runs, and tripled in the fifth inning, scoring one.

NY Mills were the first to get on the board in the first when C**t S singled, scoring one run.

Joey’s Carbon & Chrome: Majors jumped into the lead in the bottom of the first when Ryland R hit an inside the park home run, scoring three runs, and Cayden R grounded out, scoring one run.

Joey’s Carbon & Chrome: Majors added two runs in the second. NY Mills committed an error, making the score 6-1.

Rowan R earned the win for Joey’s Carbon & Chrome: Majors. The pitcher gave up two hits and one run over two and one-third innings, striking out three and walking three. Luke F took the loss for NY Mills. The starting pitcher went five innings, allowing nine runs (seven earned) on 12 hits, striking out three and walking three. Cayden R and Carter D each threw scoreless innings for Joey’s Carbon & Chrome: Majors in relief.

Joey’s Carbon & Chrome: Majors amassed 12 hits in the game. Kayden W went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Joey’s Carbon & Chrome: Majors in hits. Jaxson W and Liam D each collected multiple hits for Joey’s Carbon & Chrome: Majors. Jaxson W and Ryland R each stole multiple bases for Joey’s Carbon & Chrome: Majors. Joey’s Carbon & Chrome: Majors ran wild on the base paths, amassing nine stolen bases for the game. Joey’s Carbon & Chrome: Majors turned one double play in the game.

Hank P, C**t S, Joseph A, and Luke F each collected one hit for NY Mills. C**t S went 1-for-3 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in. NY Mills turned one double play in the game.

Campbell Dean: Minors Keep It Close Against Clark Equipment: Minors, Lose On Walkoff

Campbell Dean: Minors fell to Clark Equipment: Minors 22-21 on Friday at Canastota Little League Field on the final play of the game. The game was tied at 21 in the bottom of the sixth when Kinglsei S singled, scoring one run.

Campbell Dean: Minors collected eight hits and Clark Equipment: Minors had nine in the high-scoring affair.

Campbell Dean: Minors got on the board in the top of the first inning after Paisley C walked, Jax C walked, Carson K walked, Vincent P stole home, and Carson K stole home, each scoring one run.

Clark Equipment: Minors tied the game in the bottom of the first thanks to a single by Ryan W, a walk by Cullen A, a single by C**t S, and a steal of home by Cullen A.

Campbell Dean: Minors flipped the game on its head in the top of the second, scoring five runs on three hits to take the lead, 10-5. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Jax C on a 3-0 count that drove in two.

Campbell Dean: Minors added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Carson K walked, and Quincy A grounded out, each scoring one run.

Clark Equipment: Minors scored five runs on one hit in the bottom of the third inning. C**t S drew a walk, scoring one run, Carter W singled, scoring three runs, and a steal of home scored one run.

Campbell Dean: Minors scored five runs on one hit in the top of the fourth inning. Zachary R singled, scoring one run, Jax C drew a walk, scoring one run, Austin B drew a walk, scoring one run, Carson K drew a walk, scoring one run, and a steal of home scored one run.
