We are stronger together-

At 6:30pm today, VACO-LMR provided a memoranda to the National VA Council concerning the Department’s implementation of the preliminary injunction restoring our Master Agreement. It appears that VACO is finally providing guidance and instructing facilities to take immediate steps to comply with the court’s orders.

VA Central Office is instructing facilities to return to the status quo for all AFGE-represented employees. This includes EVERYONE covered by the Master Agreement before the August 6, 2025 Termination.

Thank you to everyone who has joined our fight to protect the Master Agreement. For those of you ready to join the fight for the future of the VA, visit join.afge.org today!

STAY STRONG and STAY TOGETHER!

OUR CONTRACT HAS BEEN RESTORED!

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
1️⃣ The Master Agreement is restored with immediate effect.
2️⃣ VA is required to recognize AFGE NVAC as the exclusive representative of the employees we represent.
3️⃣ Employees will once again enjoy protections negotiated under our CBA, such as expanded leave benefits, fair disciplinary procedures, and more.

Dear Members of AFGE Local 3306,
I hope this message finds you well. As you know, our union has been facing significant challenges due to recent decisions that impact us all. Our collective strength and unity have always been our strongest assets, and now, more than ever, we need to stand together.
You still have a Union. AFGE still exists and is not planning on going anywhere. You're getting messaging from Administrations that wish the union did not exist and illegally attempted to terminate the master agreement, but the basis for that is still under litigation. The union existed for 40 years without a master contract. AFGE does not exist because of a collective bargaining agreement. The collective bargaining agreement exists because of AFGE .
We are reaching out to you today to emphasize the critical importance of your continued support and membership dues. Your contributions are essential in maintaining our capacity to effectively advocate and fight for all our rights in the workplace as well as ensuring continued effective Veteran care and support in the mission we all try to fulfill. Union Leaders are currently setting up an emails system to contact AFGE Local 3306.
The VA has intentionally given no notice to shutting down the office to incapacitate us. We will rise to meet this challenge with an even stronger infrastructure. We have a case pending to be heard regarding the VA illegally following procedure that will be heard in October. AFGE lawyers believe we should be back in office before the end of the year. Your membership has already saved thousands of employees being fired this year.
The recent decisions have shown us how vital it is to have a strong and well-supported union. With your financial support, we can continue to:
Challenge Unfair Decisions: We will persist in our fight against decisions that negatively impact our members, ensuring that your voices are heard. Both in Congress and in the local level
Advocate for Better Working Conditions: We continually strive for improvements in our work environment, safety, and overall working conditions.
Provide Legal Support: Your dues help us to secure legal assistance and representation when necessary.
Engage in Important Negotiations: Strong financial support allows us to enter negotiations with the resources we need to succeed.

We understand that times are tough, but it's during these challenging periods that our solidarity is most crucial. Every member's contribution strengthens our union and enhances our ability to protect and advance your interests.
Please continue to support AFGE Local 3306 by keeping your dues current and actively participating in our collective efforts. Together, we can overcome these challenges and emerge stronger.

We have a Rally set for Atwater park in Canandaigua Saturday from 10am-12
Union leaders will be available after the rally to answer any questions anyone may have until 1pm about the current state of things, and what next steps look like.
Thank you for your unwavering support and dedication to our cause. If you have any questions or need assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out.
In solidarity,

AFGE L 3306
