Inclusion in Motion Empowering all abilities and ages to play, exercise, learn and socialize together. We believe that a child’s most important work is play.

Through play imaginations grow, relationships are formed, problem solving is ignited, active lifestyles are encouraged, and young minds are molded with diverse interactions. We believe that a child should be able to play seamlessly alongside their siblings, peers, parents, and grandparents – regardless of their age or ability. Our hope is that the play that happens on this playground will foster an inclusive mindset that will carry into schools and into the community.

Hi friends! We’ve been so lucky to have this beautiful weather. Motion Junction now has a bike rack available right next to the pavilion on the side facing the road. For safety reasons we along with the Town of Canandaigua ask that no bikes, roller blades, skateboards, r/c cars be on the playground.
We appreciate you keeping Motion Junction safe and enjoy playing…

6 days + 700 community members = Motion Junction

It has been 5 years since this community brought Inclusion In Motion's dream playground to life! Community members joined us to work alongside one another in 90 degree heat to put together this iconic playground, piece by piece.

The space has since been completed with a grand pavilion structure and shade upgrades. We have earned our isUD certification which marks the very first universally designed and certified playground in the United States! We have seen multi-generational play happen on a daily basis and inclusion take place in the most meaningful way: through PLAY!
