An 8-year-old student should be worrying about math fractions, not where their next meal is coming from. Yet, local educators frequently reach out to us with heartbreaking realities: "One of my students hasn't eaten since our school lunch on Friday."

At The Spot, our mission is to ensure we never have to say "no" when a school worker calls in a crisis. While our food program supports over 200 families.

By committing to just $15 a month—less than a couple of coffee runs—you directly ensure a local student has food for the weekend.

Let’s solve this gap together. Become one of our 100 monthly supporters today: https://thespotny.org/donate

A heartfelt thank you to the American Legion Victor - James Cooke Post 931 for raising and donating $1,000 to The Spot!

Your generosity will make a real difference for local students and families right here in our community. Organizations like the American Legion remind us just how lucky we are to be part of a community that shows up for its own, time and time again.

Thank you for your continued dedication to serving others — not just in the ways we often think of, but in the everyday generosity that strengthens the whole community. We are so grateful, and Victor is lucky to have you. 🇺🇸

Victor American Legion Post 931 was proud to donate $1,000 to The Spot today. The Spot is an organization that supports our Victor school district students all year long. They are the ones that give students whose families are in need, a healthy snack at school, winter coats, boots, hats, gloves, school supplies and so much more. They make sure no child is without and we could not be prouder of the work they do to support our kids. If you are able and willing, they are always in need of help with donations, please look them up. If we all pitch in we can fill their shelves. We look foward to working with them and donating more in the future.
