“Cheryl is my right hand woman in Canandaigua. She’s there, week after week, distribution after distribution. Waiting long hours for delivery trucks, carrying more boxes than we could ever count, huddling under a lift gate when we got caught in a cloud burst unloading a Wegmans order– she’s always willing to help handle the latest curveball and is the woman for the job when you need practical advice or a sounding board. She’s passionate about supporting families in our community and lives so generously. Wanting to include a fun item in our distribution, she donated 150 boxes of these delicious chocolate dipped granola bars. I hope everyone has a Cheryl in their life, Canandaigua SpotMart is so lucky to have her!”

While you are cheering on our athletes at the 𝐀𝐥𝐥-𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟐𝟑𝐫𝐝, pitch in by dropping off new, unopened school supplies right at the field! Your generosity ensures every local student walks into the classroom ready to learn.

We're recruiting 3 Victor drivers for this Friday, June 12th and 8 Canandaigua drivers for next Thursday, June 18th. Each delivery takes less than an hour — and means the world to the students and families we support. Could that be you?

Join us for the final SpotMart distribution for this school year and help feed a local child and their family! Did you know that every month we distribute 20 pound bags of food to families in Canandaigua and Victor and we act as an emergency pantry for social workers and staff who encounter kids in crisis? It is easy to help - an hour a month is all it takes to make a big difference!

Registration is OPEN for our annual Back to School Bash! If you have a student in the Canandaigua or Victor school district, we want to help set them up for a great year with FREE school supplies, no cost to you.
This drive-thru event is open to students in UPK through Grade 12, but space is limited and registration is required. Don't wait — sign up before June 30th to secure your spot!

We are so excited to be part of the Certified Angus Beef Bash on May 31st — and so grateful to everyone making it happen! Events like this are what make our community so special, and every bite supports a great cause. See you there!

What an incredible Saturday morning at Jack's Track! Members of The Spot were so honored to be part of the Canandaigua Academy Work2BeWell Club's 5th Annual Mental Health Awareness Walk this weekend as a beneficiary of this amazing event!

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and events like this one are a beautiful reminder of just how powerful community can be. Students, families, and community members came together to raise awareness, spark important conversations, and show up for one another — and we are so grateful to have been a part of it.

Attention sports families! We know The Spot is sometimes asked about sporting goods donations while that is not something we are able to accept, our friends at Practice Time Sports - Canandaigua have launched something really cool that is perfect for your gently used gear!
Introducing the PTS Swap Shop. A great way to give quality used equipment a second life while helping local families save money and making sure every athlete has access to the gear they need!
