As part of our grant program, we awarded two $5,000 grants this year. One grant was presented to Wood Library to help refurnish its children’s reading room, creating a more welcoming and engaging space for young readers. The second grant was awarded to The Salvation Army Canandaigua in support of its Phoenix Afterschool Program, which provides valuable educational and enrichment opportunities for local youth.

It’s always a great day of golf, prizes, and community — and best of all, 100% of the proceeds stay local, supporting kids and families through programs like scholarships, Kamp Kiwanis, Safe Harbors of the Finger Lakes, Golisano Children’s Hospital, and more.

A brave crew from Kiwanis Club of Canandaigua took the plunge into the icy waters of Canandaigua Lake on March 15—and what a splash they made! ❄️💙

Together, the team raised over $1,100 for Special Olympics New York, surpassing last year’s total!

Huge shoutout to our plungers: Heidi King and her two daughters, Trish Hook, Daryn Loy, Dave and Pam Metting (along with their grandson Alex Dougherty), Rocky Polimeni, and Terri Silverman.

And a heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated and supported this incredible cause—we couldn’t do it without you!
