A fantastic day was had by all at Rise Up's 2nd annual Barn Dance Fundraiser with Eastern Boys in Western Shirts!

It's almost here!!!!
There is still time to get your presale tickets to the Rise Up Therapeutic Horsemanship "Barn Dance" fundraiser, featuring the popular local band Eastern Boys in Western Shirts! Come on out and have a great time listening and dancing to their Zydeco music at the Ontario County Fairgrounds Carriage Event Barn in Canandaigua, this Saturday October 3rd, from 1-5 pm!
Presale tickets are $15, which can be purchased through Venmo () or PayPal (user ID: horsemanship OR email address: [email protected]). Payment on the day of the event is $20/ person ages 13 and over, kids 12 and under admitted free.
There will be food and drinks available for purchase from the Rise and Shine Food Truck, and The Vino Valet.
We also will have about 12 vendors available to get a start on your holiday gift shopping, and an amazing array of raffle baskets donated by many of our vendors, crafters, and several generous supporting individuals, plus from local businesses such as Tractor Supply, Sweet Expressions, Bostrom Farms, and Wizard of Clay Pottery, to name a few. There will also be a 50/50 raffle! Something for everyone!

Great Music to Benefit a Great Cause!
Come and join in on the fun Saturday October 3rd for Rise Up Therapeutic Horsemanship's 2nd annual Barn Dance Event, featuring Eastern Boys in Western Shirts, a local Zydeco band! This family friendly event will take place at the Ontario County Fairgrounds Carriage Barn Event Center from 1-5 pm. The Rise and Shine Food Truck and the Vino Valet Beverage Truck will be there to offer food and drink for purchase during the event, and there will be a wide variety of vendors there to help you get a head start on your holiday shopping! Raffle baskets and a 50/50 Raffle will also be available to bid on. Games and activities for the kids will be available, as well as a photo booth, and an opportunity for them to play instruments along with the band! This is truly an inclusive fun family event for everyone, and proceeds will benefit the horses and programs of Rise Up Therapeutic Horsemanship, which serves individuals with physical, cognitive, social, and emotional challenges, in the Ontario and Yates counties of the Finger Lakes region. Tickets are $15 in advance (ends Oct. 2), $20 at the door, and no charge for kids 12 and under! Payments can be made using Venmo (see the QR code on the flyer), check or cash. Join us 2 weeks from this Sunday for a fabulous pancake breakfast served up at the Middlesex Conservation Club - Sunday July 26th, from 8-11 am! Tell them you are there to support Rise Up Therapeutic Horsemanship and our programs, and your breakfast will be credited to us!
See the flyer below for the menu, pricing, and the address. There will be raffles, an information table about our programs, and Copper the "barrel" horse will be there for the little ones to have their picture taken with!

The Pancake Breakfast at the Middlesex Conservation Club featuring Rise Up Therapeutic Horsemanship will take place on Sunday JULY 26, NOT June 28th (as mistakenly advertised on the flyer)!
We hope you will join us there for a hearty pancake + breakfast, some raffle fun, and photo ops for the kids with "Copper the barrel horse", on beautiful South Hill in Middlesex on July 26th, from 8-11 am! Mention that you are there to support Rise Up Therapeutic Horsemanship, and your breakfast will be credited to us! $12 for adults, children 10 and under $7.

This week's fun lesson honored the riders' mothers! Riders collected roses from the turning points on a serpentine course and presented the bouquets to their moms (or mom stand-ins), and told them one thing they really loved and appreciated about them! ☺️🥰

Rise Up had a great day meeting so many awesome individuals at the Autism Awareness Day at the Canandaigua Civic Center and introducing therapeutic riding to many who were interested in learning more!
