Meet Romeo🌹♥

This guy has had it tough. He has some visible signs of a hard previous life like a torn ear, but all we truly know about him is that he was found in the home of someone who had sadly passed away and he was fending for himself for awhile.

We didn't know his name when he arrived, but his personality is all love. He wants pets and cuddles and laps to curl up in. We felt Romeo was the perfect name, and we can't wait for him to be adopted and live the life he deserves to live.

Suzie visited 98.5 The Mix and 101.7 The Wall yesterday! It looks like it was a TREAT for everyone!

Thanks for having us!

Remember, Suzie is adoptable and has been at the shelter for far too long. She does not like other dogs and must be the only dog in the home. But she absolutely adores humans and has so much love to give.

Mama came to the shelter with her puppies. She was abandonned with them in an apartment. The puppies had parvovirus.

All this time later, the puppies including Zeus and Atlas all got adopted.

But Mama stays. When will her time be?

Let's learn about Pluto, the dog who never gives up. Whose optimism and faith in people shines through even though he's never had it easy.

Pluto is a staff and volunteer favorite. When we say he is beloved at the shelter, we mean it. Everyone adores him! He was adopted and returned due to a change of living situation that wasn’t his fault.

He has an allergy and is on a special diet and medicine. Pluto isn't the dog you adopt when you're looking for easy. But he is the dog who will show you how rewarding it can be to give love to an animal that needs it.

*SANTA NEEDED*

We're thrilled to bring back Paws & Claus Pet Photos with Santa on Saturday, November 14 - early enough to get your photos printed for your annual howliday card!

BUT - we need a Santa! Our fundraising committee is full of Mrs. Clauses and no Saint Nicks!

Do we have a volunteer out there who would be willing to sit for these photos and pose with community pets? Suit provided.

Possibly, we could take two santas in 2-hour shifts - 11am - 1pm and 1pm - 3pm.
