Yesterday we hosted our yearly picnic at Mendon Ponds Park. We had amazing weather, fantastic food and camaraderie as we honored those that have retired along with those that have gone above and beyond for the previous year. Those awards are local to our patrol as well as region and division awards.

This year was special, BMSP won the award for Outstanding Large Patrol for the Eastern Division of the National Ski Patrol. We shared this day with another local patrol, GROC MTB Patrol, as they won the award for Outstanding MTB Patrol in the Eastern Division.

Congratulations to everyone, so proud of all of the accomplishments from hard work and dedication to our volunteer patrols!

On Thursday Joe Menichino, Scott Mundrick, Steve Drawe, Jamie Truethart Mike Mooney, Mike Bates, Steve Duncan, and Glenn Becker met at Base and wrapped up the end of season tasks.

The ski racks were moved and all the toboggans are stored in the ski room.

We washed about 10 toboggans that had gotten skunky inside. The family room fridge was cleaned out and all garbage cans emptied and cleaned.

We transported all the remaining bamboo, signs, and trail closed stands from base to hilltop.

All the evac gear and first aid equipment from Hilltop was brought to base. The Hilltop fridge and garbage were also cleaned out.

We mapped out some future projects for the fall.

A huge Thanks to all the guys for their help wrapping up the end of season projects,
