Post 56 will meet on February 23 at 6:00 pm at the museum. A meal will be served.

Important Information

Ryan Sawyer, Veterans Service Officer for the Panhandle Counties, will attend. He will discuss his job and outline his goals for assisting veterans in this area. If you know of a veteran who is disabled, this would be a great time to invite them so they could hear about what is available for them and for their families.

Volunteers needed to take down the Bridge of Honor flags. Meet at 6 pm on south end. Bring a cordless drill with 5/16 nut driver, heavy duty scissors or clippers, and a bag to discard zip ties.

Just Two days left!!!

Setup for the 2nd Annual Bridge of Honor setup is this Sunday, June 29th at 6 pm. We need as many volunteers as we can get. More than 700 flags will need to be secured to the walking bridge. If you have a cordless drill, bring it along with a 5/16 nutdriver. Heavy duty scissors are also needed.
There will be plenty of tasks to do. So, if you don’t have these items thats not a problem . Please join us and please share this post! 🇺🇸
