Now that the Skowhegan Library has posted this I can let you all know. More information to follow.

With heavy, yet grateful hearts, we are sharing some VERY EXCITING news.

For a while now we have been dreaming and working behind the scenes to bring Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library to Somerset County. While we had hoped to make this announcement under very different circumstances, we cannot think of a more meaningful way to honor her than by carrying forward something she cared so deeply about.

We are incredibly proud to announce that Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is coming to Somerset County!

Soon, eligible children in our community will receive a free, age-appropriate book in the mail each month—helping foster a lifelong love of reading, learning, and dreaming big.

We are deeply grateful to our anonymous donor for making this possible and honored to play a part in carrying Dolly’s beautiful legacy forward, one book and one child at a time.

More information about enrollment and the official launch will be coming soon.

If you missed today’s presentation of the whale you missed a nice program. Thanks to everyone who did come it was an awesome experience.

Within the whale will be at the fire station until 4 pm bring the kids down and take a look it’s pretty cool

We open at 10 this morning with coffee starting at 10:30.

The Library will be closing today at 2 pm so that we can go to the Fire station and set up for “ Within the Whale” that will begin at 3 pm. If time remains we will reopen the library after the event until 5 pm.
