🐾 HEARTBREAKING UPDATE & AN URGENT PLEA FOR PRAYERS AND HELP 🐾

Dear friends, family, and our incredible rescue community,

I am writing this with a very heavy but hopeful heart.
I am sharing something incredibly personal because I need to ask for your prayers, your positive energy, and some urgent help for the rescues.

This coming Thursday, I will be undergoing a major medical procedure. As many of you know, cancer has cast a long, painful shadow over my family.

I lost my dad to cancer, and my little brother just recently went through surgery to fight that very same cancer. Because of our family history, I went in to get checked myself. While we were investigating that, doctors discovered a series of other serious medical issues that have to be addressed immediately.

As the Coordinator for Kentucky Paws Animal Rescue, my entire life revolves around saving these sweet souls. Beyond managing the day-to-day operations, I am also the main person who handles all of our fundraising. Because of this upcoming procedure and the long recovery ahead, I will physically not be able to raise the money we desperately need to keep our doors open and our bellies full.

I am blessed with a truly wonderful, dedicated care team who will be stepping up to handle the hands-on feeding, cleaning, and loving of our animals while I heal. But my team cannot do the fundraising.

Before I go under the knife on Thursday, my biggest source of stress isn't my own health—it's the animals. I need to make sure our shelves are completely stocked with food, puppy pads, and critical medical supplies before Thursday so I can go into surgery with a clear mind and focus on recovering. I cannot let my medical crisis become their crisis.

If Kentucky Paws has ever touched your heart, or if you can find it in your heart to help me carry this burden, please consider donating today.

🚨 URGENT RESCUE TRANSPORT EMERGENCY: WE NEED YOUR HELP TO SAY YES! 🚨

Right now, there is a set of dogs waiting for us who desperately need a second chance at life. They have nowhere else to go, and we want nothing more than to bring them into the safety of Kentucky Paws Animal Rescue.

But we have a major obstacle keeping us from reaching them: We are completely out of gas funds.
This lifesaving mission requires a 5-hour round-trip drive, and with gas prices soaring over $4 a gallon, the fuel costs for our transport vehicle are more than our tight budget can handle right now.

It breaks our hearts to think about saying no to animals in danger just because of the pump price. Every single day, our team works around the clock to give the abandoned, neglected, and abused a voice. We don't want a high fuel bill to stand between these dogs and their forever homes.

God shows His love through the kindness of others, and today, we are asking if He might touch your heart to help us make this trip. If you can spare even the cost of one gallon of gas, you will be directly driving these dogs to safety.

🚨 URGENT: HELP US FEED & PROTECT GOD’S CREATURES 🐾

🌾At Kentucky Paws Animal Rescue, our mission is to step into the darkness to protect, heal, and find homes for abandoned, neglected, and abused animals.
But right now, we are in urgent need of food and supplies to keep our rescues safe, warm, and fed.We believe that God shows His love through others by touching hearts and showing kindness.
He has touched our hearts to stand as protectors for these innocent animals.

Because they have no voice of their own, God provides the help they need through the open, loving hands of kind people like you.

Please consider letting God work through you today to provide a miracle for these sweet animals.

Here is how His Word reminds us of our duty to be kind, helpful, and caring to all of His creation:
📖 Scripture on Kindness, Animals, and Helping:

Proverbs 12:10 – "The righteous care for the needs of their animals..."

Luke 6:38 – "Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap...

"Galatians 6:2 – "Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ."

Every single bag of food, every can of supplies, and every dollar donated is a direct answer to a prayer.

🚨🚨🚨 EMERGENCY HEARTBREAK: WE ARE COMPLETELY OUT OF FOOD. PLEASE HELP US! 🚨🚨🚨

We are writing this with tears in our eyes and absolute desperation in our hearts. Today, the worst possible nightmare happened: our food shelves hit completely empty. Every single bowl is bare, and we have absolutely nothing left to feed the innocent, helpless animals relying on us to survive today.

We are facing a catastrophic breaking point. Between the skyrocketing costs of trying to keep these animals alive and gas prices completely breaking us at over $4.00 a gallon, we are entirely trapped. At these devastating rates, we can no longer even afford the fuel to rush sick and injured animals to the vet, or drive out to rescue the ones calling out for help in danger.

We are drowning, and we cannot do this alone. If you have ever cared about these animals, if you have ever thought about helping our mission,

WE NEED YOU RIGHT NOW. TODAY IS THE DAY. They cannot advocate for themselves—they only have us, and right now, we are failing them because our hands are tied and our resources are gone. Please don't look past this post. Every minute matters.

Its Patricia Shelton birthday coming up

🚨 STOP SCROLLING: For my birthday, I need to ask you a serious question. 🚨

Close your eyes for a second and imagine being completely alone, locked in a cold, concrete kennel. You’re shivering, confused, and terrified by the loud barking around you. You don't know why your family left you here, or if anyone is ever coming back.
