Campbellsville BPW Celebrates Statewide Honors and Leadership Appointments at KFBPW Conference
The Campbellsville Business & Professional Women Club (BPW) proudly represented the community at the Kentucky Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Clubs (KFBPW) State Conference held June 5-6, 2026, in Springfield, Kentucky.
Hosted by Springfield BPW, the conference, themed "Honoring Our Past and Leading Our Future," highlighted the organization's rich history while preparing members for future leadership opportunities. KFBPW continues its mission of providing mentorship, encouragement, and empowerment for women in business across Kentucky.
The conference began on June 5th, with a panel of KFBPW former presidents who shared the organization's history, celebrated club successes, and discussed strategies for overcoming challenges. Attendees participated in an open question-and-answer session before concluding the evening with the KFBPW Foundation Dinner and Live Auction, which raised more than $2,000 for the KFBPW Foundation Program.
Activities on June 6th, included the Aspiring Professional Speak-Off Contest, a communication workshop, leadership training sessions, the KFBPW State Awards Program, and the annual business meeting.
Campbellsville BPW received significant recognition during the awards ceremony, earning the Highest Membership Increase Award and certificates of achievement in KFBPW Women's Week, Issues Management and Legislation, Public Relations, Membership Retention, Kentucky Cardinal Articles, Membership Increase (126%), Membership Retention (93%), and KFBPW Foundation Contributions.
Campbellsville BPW President Myra Gribbins was recognized with the Vision & Drive Overall Leadership Certificate in recognition of her dedication and service to the organization. Karrell Wilkerson was also recognized for supporting the KFBPW Foundation & Promise Campaign.
Several Campbellsville BPW nominees were honored during the conference. Jennifer Van Mersenburgen was recognized as Campbellsville BPW's nominee for Woman of the Year, while Angel Todd of Heritage BPW received the statewide Woman of the Year award.
Rachel Thompson was recognized as Campbellsville BPW's nominee for Woman of Achievement, with Jerry Riney of Springfield BPW receiving the statewide honor.
Phoenix Way, Campbellsville BPW's nominee for Business Supporting Women. The statewide winner was BK Designs and Blanks, LLC- “The BK Store”- of Springfield, recognized for its commitment to promoting women's advancement and equal pay initiatives.
Brooklyn Gaines, owner of Asaya Massage & Wellness, earned statewide recognition as the runner-up in the KFBPW Aspiring Professional Program, and a poem she wrote was read aloud to the attendees.
During the annual business meeting, Myra Gribbins was elected KFBPW Vice President for 2026-2027 and participated in the installation ceremony, pledging to support the president and uphold the organization's integrity. Gribbins was also appointed South Central Region Assistant Director, where she will assist Glasgow BPW in planning and hosting the 2027 South Central Region Spring Conference.
Additional state leadership appointments from Campbellsville BPW included Rachael Crabtree, who was named Leader of the Aspiring Professional Standing Committee, and Marilyn Neuman, who continues to serve as KFBPW Legal Advisor.
