Happy Birthday to our summer birthday students! Khloe's is in May and Maddox, Kimber and Luxley's Birthdays are in June. Dillinger also celebrated his August birthday. The class enjoyed all the delicious cupcakes and brownies that were brought it. We hope your birthdays are full of fun in the summer!

It took our caterpillars forever to turn into butterflies. They finally did and I wanted to post a video of releasing them so you all could see. The video is cut short because it was getting pretty windy. I hope you enjoy seeing them be release.

Last Day of Preschool! Today was truly unforgettable, filled with exciting games, fantastic prizes, and wonderful friends! And let's not forget the delightful cotton candy treat. Thank you to all the volunteers who lent a helping hand today and took some photos for me. And a big thank you to my wonderful friend for coming and making the delicious cotton candy for my preschoolers. They all had an amazing time soaking up the sunshine with friends 🧡

Carnival week kicked off with clowns, masks and cotton candy crafts. The various crafts improved our fine and gross motor skills. The Carnival and final day of school are scheduled for tomorrow!

On Monday, the West Washington Elementary School P.T.O. hosted a First Responders program, providing an opportunity for students to interact with a state trooper, firefighters, and EMTs. We are grateful for this experience and the class was enthusiastic about hearing the various sirens from each group. Thank you very much! West Washington Elementary School P.T.O

PIRATE WEEK was an absolute delight! We started the week by creating our Mother's Day gifts on Monday, followed by an array of pirate-themed crafts, including telescopes, ships, treasure maps, and culminating in a thrilling treasure hunt! The beautiful weather allowed us to enjoy our recess outdoors. As we enter our final week of school, we can look forward to a fun-filled week of carnival activities and crafts! I am astonished that this week marks our last, as we will be graduating on Friday. It has been an unforgettable year.

And they're off.....RACE DAY! 🐎 🌹 💐 Thank you to the teachers, staff and students who attended the event to cheer on our preschoolers as they participated in the race! I'm incredibly proud of my entire class for showcasing their determination and completing the race! They were initially expected to go halfway around the track, but their enthusiasm led them to complete the full lap and a half! Hearing the crowd's cheers and encouragement warmed my heart, and I'm grateful to be part of a school that promotes kindness and support for our YMCA preschool.
