The Visitor’s Center will be both a place to display artifacts as well as showcase the rich history of the region.

An ongoing series of art exhibits and auctions across Nueces Canyon is raising funds for a proposed visitors center near Mission San Lorenzo de la Santa Cruz, with additional events scheduled through May 1. The series continues through March 30 at the Camp Wood Public Library, 106 S. Nueces St. It moves to the Nueces Canyon Community Foundation Thrift Store, 103 S. Nueces St., from April 1-30.
