Did you know? Mrs. Jane Craver (1827-1911) was the wife of a Civil War soldier. They lived in Pennsylvania and were close to many conflicts. She volunteered as a nurse. She was proud of her service to the Union. Most notably, she was present to hear Lincoln's Gettysburg Address! After the war, they came to Camp Point and she is buried alongside her husband in Evergreen Cemetery. Read more about her in the Camp Point Journal online archives.
