We have the most incredible update, the best news we have had in a long long time... 🥹
APPLE IS ADOPTED! 🥳🐾😫🍀🤩👏🏻🙏🏻🌷
The truth is, we got Julia and Banana ready to fly also because we did not think anyone would come for Apple. After all, she is an older Golden and she’s missing an entire leg but, the universe has a wild way of surprising you when you least expect it.✨
Out of thin air, her dream family applied. So many times throughout the process, we were waiting for the catch, they felt too good to be true. They had also just lost their Golden, ironically named Wilson, and they were here for Apple.😭
Of course, they were open to our process but to find a family who felt called to give a dog like her a chance doesn’t come around often so, we jumped at the chance for her to have her happily ever after, they were her perfect match.💞
In mid June, Apple’s brand new dream life will begin. She will live on acres and acres of plush green grass. She will have a pool. She will have a cat sibling and two human siblings of her own. An entire family and home, all for her.
She loves kids, she loves to sunbathe outside and she loves to swim. Apple will truly be in literal heaven and after years of living in hell, with a life threatening paw infection, and living in a vet for almost one entire year, we are tearing up even thinking about how fast life can change and for the better. 💫
But, it starts with each of you here. Deciding that even though youre unsure, scared, or nervous, that you believe in something bigger and beyond yourself...
You believe in giving a gift to someone that can never repay you for it. The gift of commitment, the gift of forever.
There is no better feeling and now, we have to start fundraising for her flight which will be a pretty penny so if you can keep an eye out for that, it’ll be our last step to getting Apple home to live out this new dream life! 🌈
