Wanted to let everyone know we are doing ok. Special thanks to our wonderful volunteers who came to work extra hours to make sure doggies would stay warm during these cold cold nights. It was 8 propane heaters in the puphuts, tarps, hay, blanket wrapped dog houses, electric heaters, jackets on the dogs in Buddy's barn and sleepless nights full of prayers that everyone would be ok. And mr larry getting up during the night to check on everyone. PTL we are all ok!

Just a couple days ago, we shared our recent rescue, a sweet little 7 lb Yorkie here on Facebook. Thank you to everyone for your help, within 10 minutes of posting, the phone started ringing, emails started flowing, and applications started arriving. Today he had a meet and greet, was adopted on the spot and left for his new loving home, and a new big sister! Wow! One thing is for sure...all of our other dogs awaiting adoption will now be known as Yorkie mixes, come see us!!! lol

Recent Rescue: please meet the sweetest little 7lb Yorkie you will ever meet! Through no fault of his own, this little fella found himself without a home. Housetrained, crate trained, in need of a loving lap where he can nap the day away. 5 to 6 years old. 256-896-4694
