He was a Junior Tarpon football and basketball player. He played baseball with the Grand Lake Little League. He was a member of the Cameron Parish Livestock Show Team, 4-H Club and the Boy Scouts. He was an altar server at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. He was an avid LSU fan. He loved the Baltimore Ravens and the St. He loved working cattle and showing livestock. He loved hunting and fish
ing and especially loved computers, cell phones and video games. Kannon is well remembered as the 2008 “Little Mister Cameron Parish”. He represented the Festival proudly. He loved riding in the parade during his reign and in the ensuing years on the LSU float. Kannon simply loved life. He loved his family and his community. He had a big personality and an even bigger heart. He had friends of all ages. He enjoyed meeting new people and would do anything he could to help someone. He was always interested in learning new things and never stopped asking questions. He read the newspaper at an early age, was interested in politics and would go to the Courthouse to see the election results. He went to the Courthouse every chance he got and was affectionally know as “The Courthouse Boy”. He loved his church and always wore a cross around his neck. Kannon was so special and blessed with many gifts; beauty, intelligence, charm and charisma. Although he had many who adored him and loved to spoil him, he was always gracious, kind, considerate and loving. He was the perfect example of unconditional love. He loved everyone who loved him and never expected anything in return. Kannon was called home on April 20, 2012 as a result of a 4-wheeler accident. He leaves behind his mother, Recia Willis, his father, Jonathan Guilbeau, three sisters, Haley, Shelby and Zoie and a nephew Andon along with the rest of his family, his large extended family and his many, many friends. Kannon made quite an impact on the people of Cameron Parish. His smile and his beautiful presence will be forever missed by all who knew and loved him.
