Cameron Cultural & Environmental Preservation Society

Cameron Cultural & Environmental Preservation Society CCEPS formed in Spring 2012 by members of the Cameron, AZ community located on the Navajo Nation.

Preserving and protecting precious natural and cultural resources in the greater Cameron Chapter land area through engagement and education of the local community. The CCEPS founding members came together initially to solve a particular issue related to environmental damage. Through this experience, the founding members identified the need for members of the community to come together at a grassroots level to find solutions to local issues and help preserve local resources.

Enpro Inc. is done with assessment of AB2 and AB3 (2 sites in Cameron area, 8 sites on Navajo Nation)... this photo is of AB3 behind Cameron Trading Post, up on the hill. Look for meeting information to learn more about these sites. The original mining permit area was larger than this photo! Always a good discussion, community members ask great questions.
