Immediate family includes spouse and kids. If not married, then mom and dad.

Exploring the safari drive-thru and it's so much fun being able to observe all the animals and their habits! We love seeing these friends laying together and it's great to see the difference between a Rhea and an Ostrich!

The African spurred tortoise (or Sulcata tortoise) is the largest mainland tortoise in the world, famous for living over 80 years. They move slowly to conserve energy and can go weeks without food or water, and when it finds a water source it can drink up to 15 percent of its body weight.

🛡️ Fun Fact: The African Spurred Tortoise has thick, scaly front legs that act like built-in shields! 🐢💪 These tough limbs help them dig deep burrows to escape the desert heat—and when they’re ready to rest, they use their front legs to block the entrance like a living door!

What big eyes you have 👀

Baby spider monkeys are famous for their incredibly large, expressive, watery eyes. Because they live high up in the forest canopy, they spend their lives swinging and jumping. They have forward-facing eyes that give them excellent depth perception, allowing them to accurately leap up to 30 feet through dense rainforests.
