The Diné Innovative Network of Economies Hozho, L3C was founded in 2014. DinéHózhó is the first Low-Profit Limited Liability Company (L3C) incorporated within the Navajo Nation. The Navajo Nation is the largest American Indian reservation in the United States, spanning 27,425 square miles of the Four Corners region of the Southwest. ies have promoted resource extractive industries and tribal leaders have supported the larger high profile business ventures versus the undeveloped small business sector. DinéHózhó is transforming the Navajo economy by using traditional indigenous knowledge, applying investment tools to projects on the reservation, and continually seeking innovative solutions with a regional approach. Our vision is created by six communities looking for solutions outside of the box. Our company is moving forward on businesses that have all the components of sustainability – environmental responsibility, cultural vitality, economic health, and social equity. We are working to create a world class Navajo Nation parks system, a sustainable water company, a USDA certified harvest facility, Chapter partnerships around major tourism routes, a business incubator offering high level business consultation, and the first investment platform in Indian Country.
