The kids had a blast today for the last day of summer reading 🥳. Miss Lorena read books about gardens, then they made cool frogs and decorated planters for pretty flowers. They really had fun launching the frogs around the room! There was even an Alien in Underpants sighting😎 Thank you Lorena and everyone who helped the library this summer. We also want to thank the local businesses who donated prizes: Bridge Street Restaurant, Bread & Butter Deli, Izzy's Food Truck, Grand Vue Park, McDonald's & Dairy Queen.

Miss Beth Phillips program was about "Lena the Chicken (But really a dinosaur). The kids made there own little chick and when you push down on it the nose blows up.
Today is our last summer reading program. I hope all the children who have been keeping up with their reading can come and enjoy Miss Lorena Lahew's program with some really good prizes to be handed out.

The Greene County Historical Museum is a real treasure.

You're invited to our monthly membership meeting on Monday, July the 20th, at 6:00 pm at the Historic Bloyd House located at 600 Tomlinson in Moundsville.

We will be joined by Matt Cumberledge, Director of the Greene County Historical Society, who will be talking about the story of the Greene County Poorhouse. Non-members are encouraged to attend!

Today's program was out of this world 👽. Miss Vern read " Aliens Love Underpants" and "Aliens in Underpants Save the World". Of course the kids just had to customize their own un**es with glow in the dark paint 🎨. Thank you Veronica! See you all tomorrow for Beth Phillips and Wednesday for Lorena Lahew. Prizes for best attendance will be given out on Wednesday.
