What a GREAT 4th of July parade this year! Every year it seems to get bigger & better! Come out tonight at 7 to McCorkle Park and listen and have fun with Soca Jukebox!! Then on to the fireworks finale'!! Thanks for making this a great 4th of July Freedom Festival! Be safe!

Was a GREAT night for the glow run! Thanks to all our runners and walkers! Thanks to Chief Bashor, Scottys Tow and Recovery and Kelly's Fireworks!!! We even had Foleys Sweet Treats there for a great cool down!

IMPORTANT PARADE INFORMATION!!!
Ladies & Gentlemen, Businesses, Organizations, Bands, Services, etc, PLEASE turn in a parade entry form if you're planning on having an entry into the 4th of July parade! The Color Guard will be first in line and then our police, fire & EMS will follow. If you want a specific placement at the beginning of the parade, please let us know before that day or your entry will be placed first come first serve as we line up along Park Ave. between Seminary & the CIS school & on around. Please enter Park Ave from the S. Chestnut side (by the high school) and line up on the right side of the street, facing North. The parade begins at 1pm. Line up begins at NOON! Absolutely NO candy will be thrown from any vehicles! SAFETY FIRST!!!! If you want to throw candy, please have someone walk along the curb and toss candy to the crowds so no one has to go into the street area!

JUST A REMINDER: On the 4th, Park Avenue will be NORTHBOUND TRAFFIC ONLY from Cameron High School to the intersection at Seminary from NOON TO 2 PM. If you are out and about, please remember you will need to bring floats into Park Avenue and line them up by coming past Cameron High School, heading NORTHBOUND. All drivers dropping off kids to ride on floats will have to honor this system as well. Thank you!
