Your vote matters! Every eligible Missouri voter has the right to cast a ballot safely and independently. Whether you prefer to vote on Election Day, vote early, vote absentee, or need accommodations, there are options available to help you participate.

Register to Vote
You must:
β’ Be a U.S. Citizen
β’ Be a Missouri resident
β’ Be at least 17Β½ years old to register and 18 years old to vote
Registration closes on the 4th Wednesday before an election.

π³οΈ Ways to Vote in Missouri
Election Day Voting
Vote at your assigned polling place. Be sure to bring an approved photo ID.
No-Excuse In-Person Absentee Voting
Any registered voter may vote absentee in person during the two weeks before Election Day without providing a reason.
Absentee Voting by Mail
You may qualify if you:
β’ Have an illness or disability
β’ Will be out of town on Election Day
β’ Are caring for a confined person
β’ Meet other qualifying reasons under Missouri law
Contact your local election authority to request an absentee ballot. Most absentee ballots must be notarized before being returned.
π Curbside Voting
Voters with physical disabilities or mobility limitations may be eligible to vote from their vehicle at the polling location.
Election workers can bring voting materials to your vehicle, allowing you to vote without entering the building. Contact your local election authority for details.
