Honor. Respect. Remembrance. 👑🇺🇸

This morning, I had the distinct honor of representing the Miss Military Star sisterhood alongside member of VFW Post 5923 and the dedicated cadets of the Camdenton High School JROTC Laker Battalion. Together, we walked the sacred grounds of our local cemeteries, placing flags on the graves of our fallen brothers and sisters in arms.

Legacy is carried forward by the actions of the next generation, and standing shoulder-to-shoulder with these JROTC cadets filled my heart with pride. This Memorial Day, we pause to remember that freedom is bought with a heavy price.

It was a privilege to participate in Wreaths Across America Day at the Allee-Holman-Howe Cemetery, ensuring that our fallen heroes are remembered and honored. My heart is full today. I was honored to participate in Wreaths Across America at the Allee Holman Howe Cemetery.
There is no feeling quite like placing a wreath, saying the veteran's name, and personally thanking them for their service. It was a beautiful, sobering reminder of the true cost of freedom.
Thank you to the organizers and every volunteer who helped ensure every single hero at this cemetery was remembered today. We will never forget you. 🕊️

Hello everyone!!

For those who don’t know me, my name is Jessica Baughman. I proudly served as a combat veteran in the United States Marine Corps, achieving the rank of Lance Corporal. Today, I balance my life as a Police Officer for the City of Camdenton with being a wife to a fellow combat veteran and a mother to my sons, Jeffrey and James.

Today, we gather to fulfill a sacred duty: to honor those who have worn the uniform. My crown is a tool for service. As a veteran titleholder for the Military Star Organization, my mission is to amplify the voices and support the needs of Missouri's courageous service members and veterans.

I am committed to creating safe, non-judgmental spaces for veterans to find belonging, while equipping them with the confidence and transition resources needed to thrive in civilian life.
