17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. 18 All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 that is, in Christ God was reconci

ling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. 20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. (2 Corinthians 5:17–20)

Our Mission: The Clay Youth Ministry is dedicated to inspiring and equipping young believers to become passionate, Christ-committed followers who boldly share their faith and live out God’s Word authentically, impacting their community and the world for Jesus Christ. Our Vision: We envision a bold community of young disciples in our community who are deeply rooted in God’s Word, growing as Christ-committed leaders, discipling others, and transforming their local schools, towns, and the Lake of the Ozarks with the love and truth of Jesus Christ. Our Approach: Our youth ministry follows a 3-step strategy:
-Teach the Bible: Provide clear, focused biblical teaching.
-Build Relationships: Develop genuine, caring relationships with students through weekly gatherings, small groups, and community events.
-Send Them Out: Encourage and equip students to share the Gospel beyond youth group—in daily life, at school, and through outreach events. Each of these steps guides what we do every week, helping students both grow in faith and live it out. Weekly Gatherings & Events
• Wednesdays: We meet weekly on Wednesday nights (6–8 PM). Middle schoolers (grades 6–8) gather in the sanctuary; high schoolers (9–12) meet upstairs. Each year has a unifying theme for our teaching.

• Summer & Special Events: Relationships matter most, so during summer we pause formal teaching and do fun activities and ministry events together. Expect events like VBS, summer camp, mission trips, and casual hangouts. These times help leaders and students relax and bond outside a teaching setting.

Repent of our tendency to make plans for reaching schools and students for Christ and asking God to bless those plans, rather than going to Him in prayer for His plans, then responding in obedience.

Thank God for the assurance of answered prayers as we pray His purposes into reality, that His Kingdom come and His will be done on Earth (in schools, among students, and in our nation) as it is in heaven.
