In Niangua Township, MO (Ozarks region), the average last spring frost typically occurs between the second week of April and the end of April. Due to higher elevation and colder air settling in valleys, the Ozarks often experience later frosts than central Missouri.

I was lucky enough to be able to visit Powell Gardens during their Orchid Delirium. So many beautiful varieties I’ve never seen before.
