She Has A Name Our page is for people with a heart for SHAN (a ministry of Seeds of Hope) to stay aware of the current needs, as well as give and receive encouragement.

Ministering to and loving the ladies who walk Broadway in Camden, NJ. Women who are in bo***ge to drugs and eventual prostitution. As young girls, the ladies who now wander Broadway in Camden didn’t dream about becoming addicted to drugs and turning to prostitution to support their habits. Like us, their hopes and dreams were about growing up, finishing their education, getting married and living

happily ever after. Life doesn’t always turn out as we plan and hope for. Through life’s circumstances and often by our own poor choices, we sometimes end up on a path that seems more like a nightmare than a dream. Each of the women we see “has a name”. They are someone’s daughter, someone’s sister or someone’s friend and in most cases, someone’s mother. We share practical care and the unconditional love of Jesus Christ with the women who walk the streets of inner city Camden. We develop real, trusting relationships with them as we introduce them to the only One who can heal them, love them perfectly & change their lives. Ultimately, our goal is to see these women leave the streets of Camden, enter detox & long term faith-based rehab. We pray that they can begin to heal & become whole and eventually be reconciled to their loved ones, family members and children with their lives changed by the grace and mercy of God. We help in other ways also:
-Securing identification
-Physical & mental health assistance
-STD testing
-Christian counseling assistance
-Clothing and toiletries
-Showing them the unconditional love of Jesus Christ

- Women’s size 9 sneakers (new or gently used)
- Short‑sleeve T‑shirts in Small and Medium
- Capri‑length leggings in Small and Medium
