Looking for a job, updating your résumé, or not sure where to start? 💼

This September, the Hispanic Women’s Resource Center is offering hands-on employment support to help community members feel more prepared and confident in their job search.

Pathways to Employment offers one-on-one support with job searches, résumés, and applications, while Resume Assistance Workshops give participants dedicated time to strengthen their résumé and highlight their experience.

These services are about more than finding the next opening. They are about building the skills and confidence to navigate future opportunities, too.

A summer of creativity, connection, and family fun came together in one special celebration. 🎨💜

Evergreen Family Success Center recently hosted its Family Art Class Exhibition, showcasing artwork created by local families throughout this summer’s Family Art Class series.

From exploring creativity to celebrating culture and spending meaningful time together, each project represented a different part of the experience families shared along the way.

Thank you to every family who participated and helped make this summer so memorable!

This program is made possible in part by funding from the Gloucester County Cultural & Heritage Commission at Rowan College of South Jersey, a partner of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State and the National Endowment for the Arts.

The Hispanic Women’s Resource Center is open and serving our community again!

After facing the heartbreaking possibility that cancelled funding would force the Center to close, we are grateful for funding from the Latino Action Network Foundation (LANF) has allowed us to continue providing these important services.
For decades, the HWRC has been a place where women and families have found support, opportunity, education, healing, and hope. While Hispanic is part of our program’s name and history, our services are available to women and families from all backgrounds.

We are incredibly grateful to LANF for recognizing how much these services matter and helping make their continuation possible. We also thank Governor Mikie Sherrill for her support and for additional funding opportunities that help strengthen resources for women and families throughout New Jersey.

There is still uncertainty around the program’s long-term future, but today, our doors are open and this work continues.

Our ESL class stepped into history with a trolley tour of Valley Forge National Historical Park! 🚋🇺🇸

Along the way, students learned about Washington’s army during the winter encampment of 1777–1778, explored reconstructed soldiers’ huts at Muhlenberg’s Brigade, and visited the historic Washington’s Headquarters area.

A wonderful opportunity to practice English, experience local history, and learn together outside the classroom! 💙

Healthy routines do not need to be perfect.

A meal prepared together, a regular bedtime, a short walk, or a few minutes of conversation can create meaningful moments of care.

During National Wellness Month, we’re celebrating routines that help families feel connected and supported.
