We’re excited to announce that, in recognition of Child Abuse Prevention Month and Sexual Assault Awareness Month, we are moving our Women of Courage Celebration to April 24, 2027. This change provides us with an opportunity to have a greater impact by engaging more with the courageous women who wish to join this important cause. Throughout the month of April, we will honor the many survivors of child abuse and sexual violence, and close out the month with our celebration! Registration for the campaign is now live, we hope that YOU will be one of the brave women who takes a stand against violence.

After 7 years we are finally relaunching our Women of Courage (WOC) program. We want to invite you to become part of this special community of women who make an annual gift of $100 or more, to support the children and families served by our agency. These donations assist us in maintaining services that are free of charge to victims and families.
Through the collective generosity of WOC members, lives are changed, and hope is strengthened for those who need our support most. April is Child Abuse Prevention Month. Blue pinwheels, are the official symbol for child abuse prevention and they represent the bright, healthy, and safe childhoods that all children deserve. A special thank you to Kershaw County DSS & Malvern Hill Baptist Church for hosting the 1st Child Abuse & Neglect Awareness Resource Fair.
