Delaware Ballet Delaware Ballet is committed to spreading the love of ballet throughout Delaware. Most importantly, Delaware Ballet prides itself on excellence.

Though centered in classical ballet, Delaware Ballet diversifies itself by performing contemporary pieces. We are an independent company, fielding members through auditions and employing the services of guest artists. Each year we visit a number of schools and nursing homes to perform for groups who may not be able to see one of our productions. We also perform sneak previews (“School Shows”) of o

ur shows for schools and other groups during the day, before our performances are open to the public. It is very important to us that we are involved in the community and serving as true “Ambassadors of the Arts!”

Erica “E.Lizé” Jones is a trained visual artist, that paints portraits and scenes dedicated to the African-American experience. E.Lizé’s goal is to bridge the gap between predecessors and successors in order to remain a catalyst in preserving Black culture and Black history.

Born in Hampton, VA, yet raised in Aberdeen, MD, E.Lizé draws inspiration from all over, with a lot of her inspiration stemming from Hip-Hop, R&B, Jazz, Blaxploitation, and how those that came before us paved the way that granted the space and opportunity for us to show up in executive spaces that we did not and/or could not before.

Sug Daniels is a Delaware born, Philadelphia based, ukulele player, singer-songwriter, storyteller, and producer and coach who is using the tools around her to capture the emotions of an era. Daniels’ work is as colorful, vulnerable, and charismatic as her personality. She thoughtfully combines elements of folk, rock, and soul alternatives to create personal and tender music interlaced with messages of truth and positive change. Her single release with Don Giovanni Records "When I'm Gone" garnished well deserved attention from local and regional radio and venues and opened new paths. After years of touring with The Black Opry, playing official showcases in SXSW 2022, and supporting acts such as The Indigo Girls, Sarah Shook & The Disarmers, Molly Tuttle, Adeem The Artist, Buffalo Nichols, Daniels released her debut studio album "I Believe In You" on September 23, 2025.

Our matinee performance is a great opportunity to expose young audience members to another genre of dance. Our evening performance, complete with a catered cocktail hour and accompanying music and visual artists, is a unique and immersive Arts experience that we are pleased to share with our audience members. This year, the performance will take place at our home studio, The School of Delaware Ballet, offering audiences a more immersive experience.
