We got our share of fresh air and exercise cleaning up Rockport's roadsides this weekend, with tremendous help from the MidCoast Interact Club.

After huddling for some morning warmth, the teens fanned out with Rotarians to collect everything from candy wrappers and snack bags to bottles, cans, cups, and much more.

Thanks to Keep Rockport Beautiful for organizing these cleanups!

We were thrilled to learn this week about the efforts by the Maine Coast Fishermen's Association efforts to introduce delicious seafood to students at Maine's schools.

Susan Olcott, the MCFA's director of strategic partnerships, told us all about this initiative on Tuesday. We were especially interested in the role played in the program in by Graffam Bros. Seafood Market (including club members Leni Gronros and Kim Graffam!).

Check out this television news item about helping kids appreciate fish as a yummy option during school lunches:

Heartfelt thanks to MCH Meals on Wheels for hosting yesterday's appreciation breakfast for people who deliver meals throughout Knox County.

We enjoyed visiting with MCH staff and volunteers from throughout the county, many of them from other service organizations. It was also great spend time with our club's delivery teams.

MCH does terrific work. We're delighted to be part of it!
