One week can save a life, a child’s life, and you can help us make that happen. Camp Can Do invites you to be a part of something special during childhood cancer awareness month, an opportunity to donate to an organization that provides children diagnosed with cancer a week of summer camp. Since our humble beginnings in 1983, Camp Can Do has provided a camping experience for thousands of children.
Those who have spent a week at Camp Can Do will tell you that camp is like a bubble. It’s a world within the real world where you are free to be yourself, have fun, and just forget about everything else. It’s safe in the camp bubble, and once you’ve experienced it, you can’t wait to return. Camp is run by a team of volunteers from all walks of life. The staff includes doctors, oncology nurses, survivors, former campers and professionals ranging from child life specialists to accountants and teachers. In order to run such an amazing camp, at no cost to child or family, we need to continue to raise money. After the success of last year Camp Can Do is excited to announce the Second Annual Gala September 9th , 2017.
