We’re opening today, and Camden is part of a national conversation!!!

Fall of Freedom has been featured in Hyperallergic, highlighting the nationwide movement bringing artists and arts organizations together in defense of creative expression and freedom.

Today, that movement comes to Camden FireWorks with the opening of What Freedom Requires, our contribution to Fall of Freedom, alongside Still Here, Still Becoming, an exhibition bringing together the artists who make up the FireWorks community, including our studio artists, members, and teaching artists.

Two exhibitions. One afternoon. A building full of artists asking what it means to create, persist, belong, and remain free.

Join us TODAY, October 4 from 3–5 PM at Camden FireWorks.

Come see the work. Meet the artists. Be part of the conversation.

Still Here, Still Becoming and What Freedom Requires open tomorrow at 3pm!

We spent the last week installing these two incredibly important shows in our gallery just for you! We are so excited for you all to join us for the last of our general exhibitions for this year!

Still Here, Still Becoming highlights work from our community of artists right here at Camden FireWorks. As a part of Rituals of Return exhibition theme, this exhibition makes the declaration that Camden FireWorks is still here, still working and still thriving. This show displays gratitude for all of those who our work touches.

What Freedom Requires is our part in Fall of Freedom, a nationwide call to artists to advocate for social change.

We are excited to see you there!

The Juke is settling into its groove.

Join us Friday, October 16 from 6–8 PM for another evening of good people, good conversation, and plenty of reasons to stay awhile.

This month we’re keeping the mic open. Bring a poem, a song, a story, something you’ve been working on, or just come ready to listen. We’ll have games out, drinks flowing, music playing, and space to meet other artists, entrepreneurs, creatives, and community members from across Camden and beyond.

The Juke is about making room for the kinds of connections that don’t always happen at formal networking events. Come as you are, grab a drink, pull up a chair, and see who you meet.

Friday, October 16 | 6–8 PM
Camden FireWorks | 1813 Broadway, Camden

The last opening of the year? Yep make it a double!!

Join us at Camden FireWorks on Sunday, October 4 from 3 to 5 PM as we open two exhibitions at once and bring our 2026 gallery season toward its close.

Still Here, Still Becoming brings together the artists who make up the creative community of Camden FireWorks, including our studio artists, artist members, and teaching artists. Part of our yearlong Rituals of Return series, the exhibition celebrates a community that continues to create, evolve, and make space for one another.

Fall of Freedom joins a nationwide call for artists and cultural spaces to consider what freedom requires of us through art, expression, reflection, and collective gathering.

Two exhibitions. One afternoon. A whole lot of art. Come celebrate the artists, the work, and another year of making space for creativity in Camden.

Sunday, October 4
