ROTARY RECAP
President Matt led this week's meeting and had the honor of presenting scholarship awards to the Christian Home Educators of Camden scholarship recipients. Congratulations to these outstanding students as they begin the next chapter of their educational journeys.
Health and Happiness was presented by Gary Rivas, his final Health and Happiness report before relocating with his family. We wish Gary and his family the very best as they make the transition to their new home. The Rivas family will be greatly missed, not only within Rotary but throughout the Kershaw County community where they have made a lasting impact.
Our program featured Bruce Little, who was joined by guests Cyndi Butcher and Mattie from the Kershaw County Council on Aging. Cyndi, who plays a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the Council on Aging, led the group in a fun and engaging game that provided just a glimpse of the activities and fellowship enjoyed by participants at the center each day.
Bruce spoke about the important work of Meals on Wheels and the tremendous impact volunteers make by serving seniors throughout our community. His presentation highlighted the growing need for these services and the difference that a simple meal delivery can make in the lives of those who depend on them.
Thank you to Bruce, Cyndi, and Mattie for sharing more about the valuable work being done through the Kershaw County Council on Aging and Meals on Wheels.
Rotarians, don't forget about our End of the Year Social, June 25th. If you have not RSVP'ed, please get with Chip Hardy.
