The watershed association has kicked off the restoration initiative with installation of filters around the lake with a goal of having two filters attached to docks or structures during Memorial Day weekend. If you have not been contacted yet or have not put in your dock, please reach out to a watershed trustee to receive your filters (list at the bottom of the attached image). We appreciate those that supported and funded the initiaive, assisted with distribution of the filters and the cooperation of our lake residents.

Thank you to those of you who are keeping a watchful eye on Little Long Lake. We are happy to report it is a natural effect to see the 'fish kill' of Gizzard Shad you may have noticed this week and there is no cause for alarm.

On October 25, 2025 at the Monthly LLLWA Board Meeting, a presentation was provided to share the results of our recent professional Aquatic Survey. We would like to thank our members for their annual support and donations, which allow us to learn from these efforts.
