I haven't posted anything here in a very long time so I'm hoping for some good responses to this one. I do not understand, cannot conceive some human behaviors & this story is definitely within that lack of understanding. Yesterday this sweet, completely innocent boy was dumped many miles from what was apparently his home. This human crime was witnessed by a caring individual & the vehicle's tags were traced. For whatever despicable reason this loving boy's family didn't find a better way to rid him from their life. During the 2 days that he has spent in loving, caring hands he has proven himself to be loving, happy, potty trained, good with car rides & leash trained. He is young, may be under 2 years old, not neutered, seems & appears healthy & willing/wanting to love. This rescue is unable to take him due to an already full house, as is also the situation with the kind people that are caring for him now. We are all praying for someone to adopt him & share the love that he gives & deserves. If you or someone you know is considering a new companion please meet this special gentleman. Another GREAT story! Dana fostered Delilah for more than a year. They love each other, taught each other, sometimes tested each other & shared many snuggling moments. Dana realized that Delilah needed more than she could give her & continued to search for her best options for a forever home. Delilah now has her new family in her own home in Michigan! Thank you so much Dana! You did & continue to do really good!

This is Kong! Such a sweet & active boy. Kong is in desperate need of his forever home. A good friend rescued & has been caring for him & trying desperately to bring him into her family. Being an older woman who has rescued & cared for many cats for as many years is not able to make hers Kong's forever home. Out of options Kong is going to a shelter with lots of prayers that he will be adopted to a great home. At 3 years young Kong is fully vaccinated, vetted, neutered & very healthy 50 lbs. He has had some training which he learned quickly & wants to learn more. He is high energy so needs a patient person to continue his training. I believe that permanence & normality is his primary need. He is also accustomed to living inside & not destructive. He would probably do better as the only pet. Not real sure about other dogs but has never been around cats or other animals. He is so loved & very loving. If anyone reading this could bring Kong into your family please contact me immediately. Delivered! Thank you so much to friends, family & supporters of The 2nd Chance Ranch & Animal Farm for their caring generosity! Yesterday we delivered a value of approximately $750 of toys to a Chick-fil-A drop off site. These new toys will bring some smiles to many deserving children in the Kansas City. Thank you also to KSHB, 41 & The Salvation Army for this toy drive!
We were all so excited, including the restaurant manager, Travis to be blessed with this opportunity to do this for children! Yes...we are blessed!
