Jesse's name will be forever displayed on this placard at DCHS for our college scholarship donation. I didn't know this was going to happen when we donated so it was a special surprise! My heart is so full and I know he's proud of us.

Holding back the tears. Jesse's Helping Hand donated it's first college scholarship to a Decatur Central High School Student! The most special part is that McKenna Rush handed the certificate to the selected applicant in her brother Jesse's name! Thank you to everyone that has supported Jesse's Ride and Jesse's Helping Hand over the last 4 years. I can't thank Dennis and Patti Frist "Mongo's Ride" and Cicero Legion Riders enough for their generous donation and we look forward to this opportunity year after year! Love to all! Another day of shopping for more families. This little girl was so helpful. Tracy Rivers we had another successful year! One last mission on Wednesday for our final shopping spree. We are making alot of families happy this season.

Late post but yesterday was worth the day off work to participate in another Shop with a Cop event with IMPD. The police department does not get enough credit for all they do for our communities. Not only do they provide guidance, advice, protection among other things but raise money for charities to allow kids in our communities with things they may not get otherwise. So next time you see a police officer say thank you! They risk their lives even in situations when there shouldn't be a threat! A wise man once told me it's not about how many arrests can be made but how many lives can be saved or changed for the better. Thanks again IMPD for allowing me to be apart of this special event. I will always support your efforts in bettering our children and community. My little guy was sweet and kind and he will always have a special place in my heart! Merry Christmas everyone stay safe and healthy!

Tracy Rivers and I have had an amazing time the last few weeks getting to shop for so many families this Christmas! The feeling that comes with this job is phenomenal to say the least especially when all the kids are all hands on deck with no questions asked. Raising these kids right! When the girls ask to help wrap the gifts uhhh yes please. When you have a deadline and you have 3 boys on the Xbox and they stop to volunteer to help that's also a yes! I'm so proud. At the end of the day when we meet these parents and these precious kids you realize exactly why you can't stop. They need us and we can't do as much without all of you in the community giving as much as you can. So again from the bottom of my heart and Tracy Rivers we thank you! Look forward to the next event! Stay tuned! We delivered to 5 families today and more this next week. We didn't get all the photos but here are a few.

EVERYONE!!!! Tracy Rivers and I want to thank everyone that showed up to support our event last night at heavys! Thanks to Josh Rowdy Hale Harry Bean Myra Huddleston-Ross Jeanne Cope Delph Harold Delph Kyle Malott Deb Malott Jocko Werner Molly Furrer Brandi Coleman Geneva Lumpkin all of the Heavy's staff and our volunteers for making it happen. I must admit this was the most fun I've had personally in a long time. Tracy and I and so many others that has lost a child carry a heavy burden and alot of negativity in our lives. These charity events we put on allows us to replace that negativity with some positive! We not only collected a large amount of toys but we also raised $3,775 for these families we will help for Christmas. As always we cannot do this without all of your generosity!
