Illuminate Where there is light, there is hope. All funds raised benefit the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention (AFSP). How can I help?

What: An event for the entire family featuring games, music, food trucks, family activities and a 3.9K walk, which represents the more than 3,900 people who lose their lives to su***de each month. When: Saturday, September 30, 2023; Event registration will begin at 6:00pm with the walk starting at dusk (approximately 7:45 pm). Music, entertainment and dancing will begin immediately following th

e walk. Door prizes and auction/raffle item winners will be an announced throughout the evening. Where: The Links at Heartland Crossing; Walk will start at The Links and proceed south on Ayrshire Circle. We invite friends and neighbors around Heartland Crossing to light a candle in honor of the walk. After walking the circle, we will continue onto the course and walk the lighted cart path on holes 1, 2 and 9. Businesses: Form a team, Be a Sponsor, Provide raffle or goodie bag items, Promote to your staff through company newsletters and flyers, Utilize current media to share information on the event, Purchase luminaries for your employees, Place a sign or flyer at your business

Individuals: Register to walk, Form a team, Volunteer, Make a donation, Purchase luminaries, Show up and support a great cause

Thank you for supporting the 3rd Annual Illuminate 3.9K Walk & Family Event! Everyone loved the goodie bags and other fun surprises!!!

Adult and Child put together an Illuminate Fundraising and Walking Team, The Ch&mpersands, for the 3rd Annual Illuminate Walk & Family Event last weekend. The team was comprised of Essence Adams, Matt Bane, Sarah Bell, Kimberly Brand, Mara Edwards, Brittaney Kozlovic, Christina Ladd, Whitty Pickett, Cassie Squillace, and Venus Webb, as well as several family members of these staff.

The team raised $1,455 for the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention. Some members of the team participated in the walk and other A&C staff also represented at the A&C table at the event. A&C staff members pictured include Matt Bane, Mara Edwards, Venus Webb, Sam Eby-Reel, Michele Miller, Cassie Squillace, and Brittaney Kozlovic.

We are excited to announce that while numbers aren’t final, it appears that we will surpass last year’s total raised! We want to send a special thank you to the more than 100 businesses that supported Illuminate, as well as our host, The Links at Heartland Crossing, the many volunteers, participants and special guests, including the band Six Figures, Producer Kyle and Samantha Johnson 13 News! Also a HUGE shout out to the Morgan County Sheriff's Office - Indiana and Madison Township Fire Department for ensuring our safety and joining in the on the fun! More thank yous and photos are coming soon!!!
