The photographic work presented in this exhibition seeks to redefine a poetic enthusiasm from a simple and minimalist point of view, bringing it close to the realm of wonderment. These are snapshots of daily life which serve as revelations.
At the Café de Flore, the clientele comes to engage in study, intellectual research, and find a kind of inner tranquility within a particular architecture, as if each human being gently surrendered his/her presence to the world and then demonstrated his/her own appropriation of space and time.
Through his presence, the photographer aims at grasping what bears a resemblance with him.
The series shot at the Musée du Louvre in the abundantly lit Cour Marly and Cour Puget, show that the void can be invested with meaning in a positive manner thanks to the shapes of each sculpture and the relation between each one of them. Interactions occur between the works and the visitors; stones move, they are disturbed.
