Join us in congratulating Lenica Morales Valenzuela, AB '15, on her election as Executive Vice President of the Harvard Latino Alumni Alliance (HLAA). In this role, Lenica will partner with re-elected President Aldo Martinez to advance HLAA's mission of building, strengthening, and sustaining a vibrant network and sense of community among current and future Harvard alumni who identify as Latino/a/x/e.
A first-generation Guatemalan-American, Lenica has built her career at the intersection of frontier technology, global policy, and social impact. She currently serves as Director of Consulting Services at The Wicks Group (TWG), where she leads high-impact international aviation engagements—advising foreign civil aviation authorities and government ministries on safety oversight, regulatory compliance, and market access across emerging markets.
Previously, Lenica served as Director in International Aviation Regulatory Affairs at Zipline International, where she secured global regulatory approvals to scale drone-based medical delivery systems—expanding access to life-saving healthcare. Prior to Zipline, she was an International Project Manager at ICON, where she led the completion of the world's first 3D-printed neighborhood in southern Mexico, advancing innovative housing solutions for vulnerable communities.
Lenica holds an A.B. in Romance Languages and Literatures with a secondary in Archaeology from Harvard University, where she graduated with honors, and an M.A. in Latin American Studies from Stanford University.
