As FASI marks its 10-year anniversary, we are grateful to all of the co‑founders who helped shape our mission and guide our growth from the start.

Ellie and Brian Chu, FASI Co-Founders, remind us why this anniversary is not just a date and rather a milestone that reflects what is possible when committed people come together—researchers, partners, donors, and community members—united by a shared purpose to change lives impacted by food allergies.

Here is to the people behind the progress.

We have teamed up with GrowHappy to spread one of the most critical and most missed messages in food allergy science: consistency.

FASI-supported research shows that immune cells lining the gut are constantly sampling what we eat and sending signals that train and reshape immune responses over time. For families managing food allergies, that means consistent allergen exposure is not just a strategy. It is how the immune system learns.

📣 THIS WEEK ONLY: 10% of net proceeds of every Allergen ImmunoButtersTM and Allergen ImmunoBarsTM purchase goes directly toward FASI's food allergy research.
Every bite. Every day. Every breakthrough. 💙

What a week. 💚

From the gut-brain connection to the neuroimmune system of the skin, FASI's series showed just how deep — and how hopeful — food allergy science has become.

None of this research happens without support. If this week taught you something new, please consider:
✅ Making a gift: https://foodallergyscience.org/make-a-donation/
✅ Sharing this page with your community
✅ Joining us at out upcoming reseach summit

Thank you for standing with us during . The science keeps moving. So do we.

Day 6 of :

Most people think of food allergy as something that starts in the gut. But research is pointing to the skin as a potential starting point — especially in people with eczema.

Your skin has its own network of immune cells and sensory nerves that respond to allergens on contact. FASI scientists are investigating how this neuroimmune system in the skin contributes to allergic sensitization — and whether interrupting it early could prevent food allergy from developing at all.
