Hilltop Church Boston We’re here to help you grow in your faith and walk closer to God. If you’re in Boston, come visit us Sundays at 11am!

The purpose of Hilltop Church is to fulfill the words of Jesus, to be "the light of the world, like a city set upon a hilltop." - Matthew 5:14

Every community needs voices that have walked with Jesus long enough to see past the noise of the moment. Fathers in the faith remind us where we’ve come from and call us toward who we’re becoming.

This Sunday, we’re honored to welcome Joseph Mattera as our guest preacher. Joseph has been a spiritual father to our community. His wisdom, faithfulness, and love for the Church have shaped many of us, and we’re grateful to have him in our house again.

Come expectant. Come ready to receive. And if someone in your life needs a word of hope and clarity, bring them with you.

Can we just offer a quick hot take this morning? Here it is: churches don't need attendees. 👀

They need participants.

There's a time for visiting a church, to see if it's the right fit. But don't let that time drag on too long. And definitely don't stay a spectator! There's so much more waiting for you if you trust the people around you enough to let them know you.

God wants to speak to you through the people around you. He wants to encourage you through them. And He wants to give your life meaning and purpose, to lift up others too.

Are you going to let Him?

We hear over and over again how welcomed and loved people feel coming into Hilltop, and that does not happen by accident. It happens because of a volunteer culture of excellence that always puts others first and shows hospitality in every little thing we do, from greeting, to security, to kids, to production.

Our Volunteer Kickoff this past Sunday was a blast, and it was a special rallying point to bolster and re-charge that culture of service, hospitality, and excellence. A huge thank you to all who help make Hilltop a special, loving, welcoming church!
