Friends of the Grand Junction Path

Friends of the Grand Junction Path Shifting the urban mobility paradigm by bringing a rail-with-trail multi-use path to the Grand Junction corridor in Boston, Cambridge, and Somerville.

The Grand Junction multi-use path will integrate Boston University, Cambridgeport, MIT, Kendall Square, and East Cambridge, and ultimately connect with the planned Community Path extension in Somerville. A dedicated North-South route will offer bicycle, wheelchair, skate, leash, stroller, and foot travelers a useful, safe, comfortable, and interesting new urban route. The Friends of the Grand Junc

tion Path serves as a hub and networking tool for groups and citizens looking to engage with this project. Our diverse membership are active in many advocacy and industry spaces, and passionately welcome new interested members.
